Room Service Roulette

Mornings for me need to be slow and calculated. Coffee, 4am peace and quiet, and anything other than activities. While on a cruise, I try to keep the early morning 4am wake-up and try to stay on a routine that works well for me. Not getting up at 4am but maybe 6am but stay on some sort of schedule. Order room service and have a very light bite until we go for an actual breakfast later in the morning. We like to have coffee and muffins, bagels, or, whatever they bring us apparently.

I understand the continental breakfast is free but when you order something, usually it is what you actually want. Each day for the last 9 days, we have ordered the SAME THING, and each day, we have gotten something different. The only constant and correct item is the coffee. We order coffee, 1 bagel, 2 cream cheese, 1 grape jelly, 1 blueberry muffin, and half & half, and 1 milk for my coffee. Hard order, right? Not 1 time, has it been correct.
First day it was no bagel but an English muffin, 1 day was only the blueberry muffin, one day it was 2 bagels and 2 muffins, 3 times no half & half, and 1 day, we didn't get anything. When they say you need to be flexible when cruising, they are not kidding. Take what you get and be happy you got something. This is not the norm for a continental breakfast but I would swear most of the meals team is new.
